2008 North American Deer and Buffalo Hunts

For years my good friend Gregg Boeke and I talked about getting his daughter Kari on her first big game hunt. I put together a Mule Deer hunt for Kari in late November and on the very first day of her hunt Kari, took this Mule Deer buck with one shot at 275! She also took 4 does all with one shot at 150-250 yards. It is obvious that her proud dad had taught her well! Congratulations to Gregg and Kari on their awesome hunt together!

Jason Pearson with a typical western Mule Deer!
Father and son Ron and Jason Pearson journeyed all the way from Washington State in search of trophy-sized mule deer bucks. They found them and quite easily on opening day! They also successfully hunted pheasants and antelope on their trip together! Great guys I hope to help them again on a future hunt.

Ron Pearson took this trophy Mule Deer and an Antelope with me!

John Wagner of New York State and his old trophy American Buffalo!
John Wagner and Judy Lutkowski drove all the way out to South Dakota to hunt buffalo with me on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation and it was a very special experience for all of us. You can see why the buffalo is still so highly regarded by Native Americans. John took this 15 year old bull which will be proudly displayed in his trophy room.

Judy Lutkowski of New York State with her awesome American Bison!
John and Judy had their buffalo processed locally. They took one home in the back of their pickup and donated the other to a local food shelf which was very much appreciated. Judy is having a Minnesota taxidermist make a rug for her living room with her bull! After the hunt John and Judy spent two full days with me seeing the many sites and attractions that the Black Hills have to offer! A joy to be with, I look forward to spending time with this cool couple in the very near future!
