I AM AN ADDICTED WILD SHEEP HUNTER!
After I took my first sheep hunt in Alaska in 1977 I had developed an incurable case of "Sheep Fever."
My sheep hunting experience
I have harvested 11 North American Wild Sheep myself, guided two of my children to Dall Rams, and have accompanied friends on many other sheep hunts.
FNAWS
After my 1977 sheep hunt I became very involved with a new conservation organization called the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep. The goal of FNAWS is to "help put sheep on the mountains." I feel so strongly about FNAWS that I have attended 26 of 30 National FNAWS Conventions held annually all over America.
Minnesota-Wisconsin FNAWS
MN-WI FNAWS will hold their 30th annual convention this March. I have been very involved in the leadership of MN-WI FNAWS, serving as President and Live Auction Chair for nearly 15 years! MN-WI FNAWS is the oldest chapter of FNAWS and annually funds a quarter of a millon dollars in projects!
I have helped both my son and daughter harvest beautiful Dall Rams!
