2006 African Safaris

Roger Donahue in the center of this picture is from Hanover, New Hampshire. Roger hunted hard to kill this rogue bull Hippopotamus that had been terrorizing villagers in a remote area of Mozambique near the Save River. Boer and Kan Coetze, well known African outfitters, are opening some of this remote area that has been unhunted for nearly 30 years! This was one of the most incredible hunting and cultural adventures of my entire life and I want to thank Roger and Marsha Donahue for allowing Muriel and I to arrange and escort this trip for them. You can read about Rogers's incredible hippo hunt in a spring 2007 issue of SCI's Safari Magazine!

After graduating their wonderful twins Suzanne and Gary, Dave and Kris Knott decided to have some fun and took their very safari in South Africa. Dave is a talented hunter and took many excellent trophies includies this old bull Gemsbok.

Dave and Kris Knott hunted this past July with Boer and Kan Coetze who own and operate Inafrica Safaris. Among Dave's many trophies was this exceptional Waterbuck!

Dave and Kris pose with Dave's tremendous Impala! Both Dave and Kris told me they had a wonderful time and are planning on returning on safari very soon!

If you fly to South Africa on South Africa Airlines you are entitled to another flight within South Africa at no extra charge! I advise all first time safari hunters to fly down to Capetown after their hunt and tour with my good friends Willie and Margie Hare of Cape Diversity Tours. Capetown is one of the most beautiful places in the entire world and very reasonably priced. Dave and Kris ended their South African safari with a 4-day tour fully escorted by Cape Diversity Tours!
