Bill Owens, pictured at left is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He and his long time friend Bruce Ebelherr have driven from California to the Black Hills region for three years in a row. They hunt for all the right reasons and are a joy to be around. Bill and Bruce always tell me they are "hunters and gathers" and not trophy hunters, but as you can see, they do take trophies as in these 2009 bucks taken with Hunt Bud Consulting! I am proud to call them my friends!

Bruce Ebelherr is a true "hunter gentleman" who has enjoyed many successes in his life. He hunts for all the right reasons and is always taking care of those around him. Bruce took this great buck antelope at daybreak after he and Bill scouted and found this buck the afternoon before!

Dan Berrum and Don Dusick hunted with us last year. Dan brought his son with him in 2009 and took this tremendous Montana buck while enjoying the time away with his son!

Don Dusick is one of the toughest hunters I know! He is in incredible shape and can walk men much younger than him into the ground. Don has hunted all over the world, but will probably tell you chasing antelope with John and Andy Coulter is one of his favorite hunts! Congratulations Don on yet another great goat!

Dr. Ray is an incredible trauma surgeon from California and an even better person. Each year he makes the long drive with his prize dog to collect food for the table and trophies for the wall. Ray has a had a rewarding career helping others, has hunted all over the world, but remains as shy and and as humble a man as I have ever met.
